As some of you may know, Brisbane has become the home of another streetwear shop — Local Society.  The shop was founded by a good friend of mine, Jono, who also is behind The Chopspot Barbershop.

Ever since the beginning of DopeKoto we’ve thrown around ideas many a time about streetwear and Brisbane. Fast forwarding 11 months since the initial discussion, he has finally pulled the trigger and has opened a clothing store right next to his barbershop at The Glass Factory, West End.

Stocking multiple brands such as the likes of Le Coq Sportif, Hundreds, Grand Scheme, Geedup Co, HUF, Local Society provides Brisbane’s streetwear subculture’s much-needed variety all in a local store.

As we’ve always been wanting to tee up something together, we’re happy to announce that we’re running a competition together — to celebrate the opening of Local Society and our one year anniversary here at DopeKoto!

Competition Details

3 lucky winners will have a chance to win a haircut or pomade kit from The Chopspot Barbershop as well as a T-shirt from either Local Society or DopeKoto (randomly chosen). The T-shirt will either be a Grand Scheme pocket tee or the limited out of 50 DopeKoto ‘Cement’ tee.
