The piggy-bank that costs more than the amount of coins it can hold

Iconic streetwear label A Bathing Ape (BAPE) plans to celebrate its 23rd anniversary with the Midas touch. Taking the minimalist route, this collection features the customary ape prints in gold on classic staples. Unsurprisingly, the number 23 can be seen in various places across the collection, much like the recent BE@RBRICK toys seen across the interwebs yesterday.
For the shark hoodie lovers, BAPE have obviously got you covered. Instead of seeing the usual colour blocking, the 23rd anniversary collection will have the camo print outlined in gold, giving the brand’s popular outerwear a clean aesthetic. This gold outlining has been applied to matching shorts as well.
To complete the collection, BAPE have also done a gold-covered Baby Milo piggy-bank. Which makes me laugh, because the piggy-bank probably costs more than the amount of coins it can hold. Once again, it’s time to call out the Japan plug to secure yourself a piece from the collection on Saturday, 2nd April.
