Having recently regained his relinquished control rights to Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) back in January, Pharrell Williams announced yesterday his co-ownership of renowned denim label G-Star RAW. Skateboard P told the world on social media of the great news, but is it really great news?

To be honest I’ve never really been a fan of G-Star RAW, partially because back in the day they had some whack designs but mainly because I knew the family who manufactures the jeans. Especially the quality that goes into them versus the price you are paying for them.

Maybe if Pharrell looks to change the manufacturing process, I would consider getting myself a pair. But as it stands, the RAW would never be fully cooked (pun intended). Much like how BBC took a turn for the worse after moving manufacturing from Japan to countries like Mexico and China.

What’s your thoughts on this matter?  Can Pharrell make an impact in G-Star?  Let me know in the comments section below!
