The 80s marked one of the greatest eras when it came to sneaker silhouettes. Shoes we now hold dear and can’t go without. New Balance is on top of that list for me. Classic silhouettes with craftsmanship second to none. How can you not have shoes made with quality as part of your weekly rotation?

A week from now, New Balance will retro from the archive, a shoe you would’ve had in your rotation if you were alive in 1984 — the New Balance M770. Yep, it’s one of those sneakers you can’t go without, but you just don’t know it yet.

The 770’s resurrection is staying true to the exact measurements and every element of its original design based on the version made in Ireland. This time round the blueprint is blessed by the hands of the Flimby factory in the UK, offering the original burgundy colourway and a tan suede as well, to switch it up.

It’s been a long time coming to bring back this soft ‘forgiving’ shoe which also offers protection against knee injury, going by what New Balance stated back in 1984. Nevertheless, don’t miss out on acquiring an authentic classic that will be available globally on Saturday the 5th of November.
