Crossing the Finish Line: Diadora ‘Seoul to Rio’ Pack
A few weeks ago leading up to the 2016 Rio Olympics, we showed you our top 4 Olympic-inspired sneakers. Now with less than a week to go, Italy-based Diadora gear up for their very own collab pack. Dubbed as the ‘Seoul to Rio’ pack, Diadora is bringing back two running shoes popular amongst athletes in the ’88 Seoul Olympics — the I.C. 4000 and Intrepid models.
Working closely with Diadora, are seven distinguished sneaker boutiques. We’re talking a prestigious line up with the likes of Hanon, Solebox, Patta, 24 Kilates, Packer, Kith and Concepts. The initial photos revealed Patta, Packer and Hanon’s moniker stamped on the heel, adding a nice subtle touch.
Diadora stood out with this pack, executing with finesse by co-releasing matching jackets, tees and duffle bags for each pair. Without going into too much detail about each individual pair, we see a range of distinguished colour palettes used. See for yourself in the gallery above. All we’re saying is, you can expect Diadora to deliver their usual flawless quality.
August 6 will see the first release of the collection, in particular the I.C. 4000 models. This will be followed by the second instalment on August 20, with the the Intrepid models.
