Since the advent of their latest models, the NMD and Ultra Boost, adidas has once again taken the sneaker scene by storm. However, their Originals line has always attempted to make a resurgence in the street scene by creating bespoke retro pieces and in June they will with an exclusive sneaker for the ladies. The iconic low-top basketball shoe that was catapulted into the street scene by the legendary rap group Run DMC, the adidas Superstar, will be taking main stage this month. The thinner and longer tongued Superstar 80s to be precise.

Dubbed as the ‘Snakeskin’ Superstar 80s, the striking black and white classic is receiving a makeover using an all-nubuck embossed snakeskin upper — giving the timeless silhouette a luxurious finish. The shoe is completed with the customary gold adidas Originals tongue stamp and with that said ladies, be quick as we are sure these will fly off the shelf.

The adidas Originals Superstar 80s ‘Snakeskin’ will release globally on June 16 at adidas retailers
