Kicking off Saturday the 6th, Brisbane will be showcasing some world class street art talent, most of which developed their talents in the same city they’re about to take over for the next 12 days. The festival organisers describe the events as “a new concept conceived by an innovative creative collective that intends to enhance the Brisbane community and inspire individuals through public art.”

During the span of the festival there will be a huge amount of showcases and live painting sessions involving 25+ walls and over 50 artists. The festival rounds up on Sunday the 14th at Lost Boys in the Valley with the Festivals’ Closing Party and one last showcase on the Thursday the 18th of February.

One highlight for myself will be Sofles showcase session on Sunday the 14th. Sofles is one of Brisbane’s, if not Australia’s best street art talents who has travelled the globe on the back of his insane artwork, nearly leaving you in awe every time. He also has some mind blowing video content for those who haven’t seen it including the huge viral video LIMITLESS.

For a full list of artists who will be displaying their craft and to keep up-to-date drop by Brisbane Street Art Festival’s website at or visit the Facebook Event Page.

Come down to any of these showcases during the festival to witness some of these artists doing what they love. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the artists with any discussions or questions they may have about the artwork being created right before their eyes.

Check out the BSA Festival timetable and the festival program to see when and where these showcases will be held.  You can also follow Brisbane Street Art Festival on Instagram to see what these artists produce during their showcases.
