A couple Sunday’s back, the whole squad here at DopeKoto, as well as fellow sneakerheads from across the nation gathered together in Sydney to celebrate and share their love of the culture. Supported by Crep Protect and prepared by the guys and girls from The Kickz Stand (TKS), the “It’s More Than Just Sneakers” event ended up being an epic turn out.  Several vendors showed up and represented what Australia has to offer in the sneaker and streetwear community.

The Basketball Stadium at Alexandria was packed with some of the rarest shoes to hit our shores, having vendors lining them up for our eyes to see, fill our hearts with joy and our minds with amazement. Not to mention true sneakerheads rocking some crazy kicks some wouldn’t dare to unDS (un-Dead Stock).

Amongst you’re usual Jordan heat it was great to see people rock a variety of sneakers, from Ronnie Fieg’s to Y-3’s, or even your OG Micropacers from way back, to the latest NMD’s just released the day before.

With vibing beats banging throughout the whole day, a sausage sizzle I myself couldn’t get enough of, and a whole stadium with the sneaker fam having a good time celebrating our love for sneakers, all I can say is the day was a good day *insert Ice Cube track*.

Thanks for inviting us TKS, and thank you to the supporters and Crep Protect for sponsoring the occasion. Check out the video above that recaps the event!
