In the past decade we’ve seen a tasteful fusion of styles and genres, forming enthrilling new living sounds. South Korean rapper Kim Ximya and producer FRNK, known as the XXX duo, are no exception to this. These two are refreshing to see rise up in today’s hip hop scene. Two unquestionably different music styles creatively come together for the first time in the duo’s début album KYOMI. With FRNK’s experimental technique melding with Ximya’s flow, this head-whipping rap-electronic song is born!

A dystopian visual for the track ‘Flight Attendant’ was coupled with the album release a few days ago. The video’s depiction of the track is ingeniously created with an 8-bit monochrome pop-art animation symbolising the modern consumer society and its ugly demise. Paris-based animator Mattis Dovier kills it with abstract in-your-face scenes, seamlessly working with the unique combination of sounds.

Even if you don’t understand Korean, you have to check it out!
