Who else thinks Drake x Future’s collaboration album was a big waste of time? I sure did.  Since then there’s been a lot of hype over an idea.  The idea of Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole doing a collaboration album themselves.  Well… the time might arrive sooner than you think.

In case you haven’t caught wind of Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole’s spin-offs; these two iconic rappers (whom I dub both as King of the West & East) have traded beats and rapped a version of their own.

Kendrick Lamar – Black Friday (A Tale of 2 Citiez)

K. Dot goes hard for the whole nine yards to the dark beats of J. Cole’s ‘A Tale of 2 Citiez’, showing some love for Kanye and showing why he is the King of the West.  Lyrically gifted as he normally is, K. Dot delivers yet another track that will surely become a hit.

J. Cole – Black Friday (Alright)

On the other hand, J. Cole cuts the mustard with his version of ‘Black Friday’ over the beats of Kendrick’s ‘Alright’.  Right before the track cuts out at the end, J. Cole hints a February collaboration drop as he raps, “When you and K. Dot dropping sh*t” “But this February, bet sh*t get scary when I f*ck around and drop”.
